“RIP English” – Singer Peter Okoye slams troll who attacked him on Twitter

Famous Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has lampooned a troll who attacked him on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

After a long-time feud, the singer, who recently reconciled with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, had taken to Twitter to gush over an unnamed person on Thursday, August 11.

He tweeted, “I knew I loved you before I met you?”

However, the troll grabbed the opportunity to slam the singer and called him a ‘village boy’, but his tweet was incoherent.

The Twitter user wrote,

“Typical village boy turn to celebrities, so for that , that is why you are always condemning good did if the government.. We while you hide one side…..”

Appalled by the troll’s comment, Peter mocked him for his grammatical error and advised him to tweet in his local language instead of trying hard to speak in English.

“RIP English! Pls type in your language next time! ???”, he responded.
